In all the hoo-ha after the publication of Cherry-picker Blair’s autobiography, Speaking for Myself, there’s another eye-opening piece of the Spinner’s art. It’s been leaked by ‘friends’ that the saviour of the Middle East (not), T. Blair, is “incandescent” at how the C-P has made public some of the intimacies of their sex life. Sorry? Is this not the same T. Blair who, when in office as Prime Minister, went on Five Live and offered - yes, offered, the insight that “I’m a five-times-a-night man”? Nothing that even the Cherry-picker can offer up could be as toe-tighteningly vulgar as that. These days he’s trying to mask up as an homme serieux so we’re spun “Incandescent”? Doubt it.
